Moab Trip

We just got back from a trip to Moab with Jake's company. It was lots of fun. They rented Jeeps so we could go off-roading. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to go so Jake went out with the group for a while. He came back and got Hannah and me and we went for a little while. I have to say that it was fun but I was worried about Hannah so we weren't as adventurous as we could have been (and to be honest...maybe that's a good thing...I am not as tough as I used to be). I am glad Jake got to do it though he LOVED it.
Jake did have to go to a few meeting during our trip so Hannah and I had a lot of fun hanging out with the other wives that came.

On the way home we stopped in Arches and walked to a lookout point of Delicate Arch. It was the first time any of us had seen it.

I Wonder What Is Going Through Her Mind...

I put Hannah on the toilet seat while I was getting ready the other day. She must have really liked sitting there with her cracker and her gloves on. She sat there for quite a while and once she finished her cracker she would call out "MMM MMM MMM" (that means more). I even turned the light off which usually gets her out of the bathroom pretty quick but it didn't work this time. She is so funny...I wish I knew what she was thinking!

Say Goodbye!!

Last night we cut a hole in Hannah's binky. She wanted it last night still but all day today she would get mad if I tried to give it to her. Tonight when I was putting her to bed I did our normal routine and after I put her down I offered it to her again. She said "No!" and shook her head. I left and she fussed for about a minute but went to sleep. I think we are finally done with the binky. I might miss it more than her...we will see.

I will give a big prize to whoever can guess how much the binky in the picture costs!!

Huggies

I have had so many people tell me they love huggies diapers that I had to give them another try. I have used them in the past and never thought they were very good. Well the past couple of mornings I pull Hannah out of her crib and her bum is wet...soaked through the PJs. It drives me crazy. I think a diaper should be able to hold through the night at least. I never had this problem with Pampers. Has anyone else had this problem or am I the only one who doesn't like Huggies?

What could be more fun?

Hannah escaped while I was trying to get her dressed this morning and look what she found! You can tell she was very excited about it!

I'm A Fan

Up until now I wasn't a fan of Brooke...But last night I thought she stole the show. I don't think she has the best voice but I thought her performance was the most well put together and most fun to watch (although, I have to admit, I am about as far from an expert as you can get). I hope she makes it through tonight!

Pocatello

Hannah and I went up to Pocatello with her Grandma and Grandpa this weekend to see some cousins. Hannah was so happy to see Katie and loved playing with her cousin's toys, especially the dress up clothes.

TV Junkie...

I don't let Hannah watch very much TV...usually just while I do her hair. But she has figured out that she loves it now. She tries to turn it on every morning. And sometimes she doesn't want to leave the house..she would rather stay and watch. Today she didn't take a nap so I put shrek in (I needed the break) and she laid down and just watched for a while. It was actually nice that she wasn't running around like crazy...I could get used to this.

Newest Word

Hannah has been saying lots of new words. The most interesting to me is "Pepper." I have been eating red peppers quite a bit lately and she is crazy about them. Its so strange to me...but if I ever pull one out she says, "peppa" and will actually eat it. So her diet right now consists of spaghettios, cheerios, and red peppers.

First Day in Nursery!

Today was Hannah's first day in Nursery! Jake and I enjoyed it but I don't think she did. I left Sunday school a couple times because I could hear her screaming. Hopefully next week will be better!
