Mexican Riveria Cruise

This is one of the pools on the boat. It was salt water so I only got in once. And that was because Jake's company threw gold in the pool (I only got 1 dollar but it was worth it).

Our room.

Formal night #1.

Our First Stop: Acapulco

These are the cliff divers...I had no idea how famous they were till we got home and everyone had heard of them when we told about our trip. I am glad I took lots of pictures!

Second stop: Zihuatanejo

We got to snorkel in this reef. It was so amazing! (At least for someone like me who has never been before) I saw thousands of fish.

Third stop: Manzanillo (and my favorite day)

This sunken ship (they told us it sunk in 1830) was right off the shore and we were able to snorkel by it. I was so scared to jump off the boat but it was so cool once I did. It was really creepy but so amazing to see it.

This was my favorite restaurant we tried. I think it was aimed at tourists (and it worked for me!)

We body surfed on these waves. I think that might be Jake but I am not entirely sure. I was kind of nervous to try body surfing at first but once I did I loved it!

This is our second formal night. Can you tell we are exhausted? It was so fun but it was a long time to be away from Hannah.

4th Picture Tag

Well, I didn't get tagged. The rules are you find the 4th folder with and the 4th picture in it and you post it. I saw it on someone's blog so I checked to see what mine would be and since I love this picture of Hannah I decided to tag myself. This is Hannah's new coat and the Franke's tricycle. Hannah loves riding it and is getting really fast!

I tag everyone who is reading this blog (I won't know if you cheat).

Halloween

Hannah dressed up in a little dress that I bought in Hong Kong for Halloween. Hannah really didn't want to wear the dress at first. When I explained that if she wears it she will get lots of treats she agreed to put it on. So that made her really excited.

Our first stop was trick or treating at Jake's work party. Everyone was in their office giving out candy. They all had tons of candy. I tried to tell Hannah to just take one, but everyone would say, "No take as many as you want." And you can imagine what 'as much as you want' means to a two year old.

Next, we went around the neighborhood for a little bit (even though we had PLENTY of candy already). I guess that's the benefit of being a first child.
After trick or treating we went to a Halloween party for a little bit. Jake won the doughnut eating contest. Even though we got there just after 7, Hannah was totally exhausted by 8 so we took her home and put her to bed.

Gymnastics

Hannah and I started a gymnastics class a couple months ago. She loves it! They
have lots of fun equipment and activities. Can you believe we fit all this in 45 minutes? I really think it helps Hannah learn to follow directions and it's great exercise. I am glad we will have some fun things to do during the cold months.

The best part, of course, is having Kelty there to help her. Kelty is much better at following directions and Hannah is really good at following Kelty!

Girls Trip!

Last weekend we had a really fun girls trip in St. George. We went to see Les Mis at the Tuacahn. It is an amazing outdoor theater. I think everyone needs to go! The rest of the time we played games, watched movies, ate A LOT of peanut butter m&ms, and most importantly we shopped. It was nice to be able to shop without the kids. We had a great time!

We single handedly tried to save the economy by all the shopping we did...and this is just shopping day 1!

Hannah's Favorite Quote

"No Hit! Go time out!"
And then she always points.

She says this over and over and over...I wonder who she is quoting ;)

Petting Zoo

We got to go to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point today. The bunnies were the HIGHLIGHT! When the bunnies would run to the back of the cage she would say, "Bunny, come!"

Mason and Hannah

I was so excited that she went on the pony this time. She loved it so much we went twice.

Why??

Why not sleep on the comfortable bed?

Why not sleep on this spot of ground (that I make into a bed every night)?

It has to be right by the door scrunched up with everything she can find in the bedroom underneath her. Why? I have no idea!

Yeah! We are finally done!

It's official! Jake graduated last Friday. Neither of us had any idea that he was Cum Laude till we saw his name on the program. Congrats, Jake!

Bear Lake

Hannah and I just got back from a trip to Bear Lake with my family. We had so much fun! Hannah loved playing in the water and in the sand. My dad brought his sail boat and we gave Hannah a ride. I even took it out on my own for the first time. We had fun playing games and just relaxing! This is a video of Hannah and her cousin Katie Playing ring around the rosie. Hannah didn't bite at all this week. I am so proud of her!

Breaking Dawn

I finished! I am dying to know what everyone thought. Leave a comment if you have read it and let me know what you think.

24th of July

I love the 24th of July! Its been a couple years since we have been in Utah for the summer so it was fun to celebrate it again. We went to a parade in the morning. This was the only real float and the only marching band. But we were in the shade and Hannah loved it so we didn't mind at all. (And of course the highlight was Matt and Miriam and their big red truck!!) After her nap we had a BBQ that was so good and then did some fireworks. These are the kids watching...you can tell it was quite the show!
