Long Overdue Update

We have been busy!  (Not so busy that I couldn't blog...I am just lazy about blogging)

In March, we had a fun trip to Zions with Platinum.  We had a great time and got to do lots of things like climb the rock wall, ride mini ATVs, ride horses, and ride the zip line.  Hannah was so brave and after she saw me (attempt) to rock climb she had to
try herself.  She did pretty good!

Hannah loved finding Easter eggs of course!  We had a little egg hunt at
Miriam's house and when Hannah walked in and saw all the eggs that we were going to hide she was so excited and said, "It's
 my birthday!"

I know I don't have cutsie pictures of her in a Easter dress...for some reason I couldn't care less about getting a new dress on Easter.  I am not sure if that will surprise you or not.

A couple weeks ago my sister-in-law, Jamie, graduated from BYU! KSL did a news story on her and her roommate, Jill.  You can read/watch it here.  Congrats Jamie and Jill!

A couple weekends ago we went to Las Vegas for my Niece's wedding.  We are glad we got to spend so much time with them and their family over the past few weeks.

Last weekend, Hannah and I went to Pocatello for my sister's graduation.  No news story on her though ;) Congrats, Becky!

This is my brand new nephew James (my brother's second baby).  Isn't he adorable!  He was born on April 27th almost a month early and still weighed 7 lbs 11 oz!  I am taking a trip to see him in about a month and I am really excited!!  My brother is graduating from Med school this week too!  Its been so nice to have a doctor in the family!

Hannah and I are always having fun!  This is at Jumpin' Jacks by my house and the other is at the dino museam at Thanksgiving point.

Besides that I have been juggling American Idol and Biggest loser...our DVR can only record one at a time :(  I hope Kris wins AI and I hope Ron doesn't win Biggest Loser.  And that is it...you are caught up with our lives!

I Finally Saw It!

And....

I loved it!  My sisters came into town for the Draper Temple open house and stayed the weekend.  I am glad I finally saw it...especially since I probaly convinced you to read the books (or tried to convince you) but somehow ended up being the last mormon girl between the ages of 15-35 to see the it!  Anyway, I can't wait for the next one.

AND...there is a really cool feature I added to my blog.  If you look on my blog you can read the comments without clicking on ANYTHING.  My brother-in-law set it up and its called roll-over comments).  Its so nice AND it is so easy add to your blog (it is seriously like two clicks and DONE).   You can see the link to blogger hints over there on the right side.  Good luck...and I hope to see you guys with roll over comments too!

Valentines and Hannah's First Song

Jake told me today that he needed to make a quick run to 'Home Depot.'  I suggested that he take Hannah because she loves spending time with her Daddy.  When they got back, I said hi to Hannah and she said, "Mommy, I go Walmart."  I said, "Oh really?" And then she explained it all, "Get flowers give Mommy.  And treats too!"  Jake just gave me a sheepish grin and shook his head.  Then I got my flowers and treats.

The Holidays

Christmas eve at Granny's. We forgot costumes for the Nativity so we used towels. The kids loved it.

Hannah got fruit snacks in her stocking.
Once she opened opened her stocking she was DONE opening presents...all she wanted were her treats.
We went to Jake's house for Christmas morning.

Hannah's new sledding gear.

Jake hooked a tube to the back of a truck and that's how we went sledding.

Hannah and I had lots of fun decorating this gingerbread house...aren't we talented?

Fun with cousin Avery.

Our new years eve tradition...Party at the Reeders!

Thanks for this action packed movie, Justin!

Mexican Riveria Cruise

This is one of the pools on the boat. It was salt water so I only got in once. And that was because Jake's company threw gold in the pool (I only got 1 dollar but it was worth it).

Our room.

Formal night #1.

Our First Stop: Acapulco

These are the cliff divers...I had no idea how famous they were till we got home and everyone had heard of them when we told about our trip. I am glad I took lots of pictures!

Second stop: Zihuatanejo

We got to snorkel in this reef. It was so amazing! (At least for someone like me who has never been before) I saw thousands of fish.

Third stop: Manzanillo (and my favorite day)

This sunken ship (they told us it sunk in 1830) was right off the shore and we were able to snorkel by it. I was so scared to jump off the boat but it was so cool once I did. It was really creepy but so amazing to see it.

This was my favorite restaurant we tried. I think it was aimed at tourists (and it worked for me!)

We body surfed on these waves. I think that might be Jake but I am not entirely sure. I was kind of nervous to try body surfing at first but once I did I loved it!

This is our second formal night. Can you tell we are exhausted? It was so fun but it was a long time to be away from Hannah.

What Happened to the Nielson?

That's what happened to us! We have been so busy having tons of fun on our 8 day cruise to Mexico. I will try and get our blog updated soon with lots of pictures from our trip.
