I Finally Saw It!

And....

I loved it!  My sisters came into town for the Draper Temple open house and stayed the weekend.  I am glad I finally saw it...especially since I probaly convinced you to read the books (or tried to convince you) but somehow ended up being the last mormon girl between the ages of 15-35 to see the it!  Anyway, I can't wait for the next one.

AND...there is a really cool feature I added to my blog.  If you look on my blog you can read the comments without clicking on ANYTHING.  My brother-in-law set it up and its called roll-over comments).  Its so nice AND it is so easy add to your blog (it is seriously like two clicks and DONE).   You can see the link to blogger hints over there on the right side.  Good luck...and I hope to see you guys with roll over comments too!

Valentines and Hannah's First Song

Jake told me today that he needed to make a quick run to 'Home Depot.'  I suggested that he take Hannah because she loves spending time with her Daddy.  When they got back, I said hi to Hannah and she said, "Mommy, I go Walmart."  I said, "Oh really?" And then she explained it all, "Get flowers give Mommy.  And treats too!"  Jake just gave me a sheepish grin and shook his head.  Then I got my flowers and treats.

The Holidays

Christmas eve at Granny's. We forgot costumes for the Nativity so we used towels. The kids loved it.

Hannah got fruit snacks in her stocking.
Once she opened opened her stocking she was DONE opening presents...all she wanted were her treats.
We went to Jake's house for Christmas morning.

Hannah's new sledding gear.

Jake hooked a tube to the back of a truck and that's how we went sledding.

Hannah and I had lots of fun decorating this gingerbread house...aren't we talented?

Fun with cousin Avery.

Our new years eve tradition...Party at the Reeders!

Thanks for this action packed movie, Justin!

Mexican Riveria Cruise

This is one of the pools on the boat. It was salt water so I only got in once. And that was because Jake's company threw gold in the pool (I only got 1 dollar but it was worth it).

Our room.

Formal night #1.

Our First Stop: Acapulco

These are the cliff divers...I had no idea how famous they were till we got home and everyone had heard of them when we told about our trip. I am glad I took lots of pictures!

Second stop: Zihuatanejo

We got to snorkel in this reef. It was so amazing! (At least for someone like me who has never been before) I saw thousands of fish.

Third stop: Manzanillo (and my favorite day)

This sunken ship (they told us it sunk in 1830) was right off the shore and we were able to snorkel by it. I was so scared to jump off the boat but it was so cool once I did. It was really creepy but so amazing to see it.

This was my favorite restaurant we tried. I think it was aimed at tourists (and it worked for me!)

We body surfed on these waves. I think that might be Jake but I am not entirely sure. I was kind of nervous to try body surfing at first but once I did I loved it!

This is our second formal night. Can you tell we are exhausted? It was so fun but it was a long time to be away from Hannah.

4th Picture Tag

Well, I didn't get tagged. The rules are you find the 4th folder with and the 4th picture in it and you post it. I saw it on someone's blog so I checked to see what mine would be and since I love this picture of Hannah I decided to tag myself. This is Hannah's new coat and the Franke's tricycle. Hannah loves riding it and is getting really fast!

I tag everyone who is reading this blog (I won't know if you cheat).

Halloween

Hannah dressed up in a little dress that I bought in Hong Kong for Halloween. Hannah really didn't want to wear the dress at first. When I explained that if she wears it she will get lots of treats she agreed to put it on. So that made her really excited.

Our first stop was trick or treating at Jake's work party. Everyone was in their office giving out candy. They all had tons of candy. I tried to tell Hannah to just take one, but everyone would say, "No take as many as you want." And you can imagine what 'as much as you want' means to a two year old.

Next, we went around the neighborhood for a little bit (even though we had PLENTY of candy already). I guess that's the benefit of being a first child.
After trick or treating we went to a Halloween party for a little bit. Jake won the doughnut eating contest. Even though we got there just after 7, Hannah was totally exhausted by 8 so we took her home and put her to bed.
